Tele knobs

Okay, so what's the correct terminology to describe solid metal knobs with very deep grooves and accordingly very sharp points on the metal diamonds the grooves create?  That's what I want for my guitars.  I'm not particular about whether the knobs are domed or flat on top.

I believe that is called "Knurled" , but I may be wrong.

Yep, they're knurled, but there are various depths of knurling.  That's what I'm up against.
