Tele Bridge and PUP on a Strat Body

I have a Strat body on the way, currently routed S-S-S.  I am considering mounting a Tele bridge (with the appropriate mod to the bridge PUP pocket).  This, indeed, is an option Warmoth offers for a custom Strat body build.  Has anyone tried this and if so what were the results?  Does anyone have any thoughts as to the efficacy of this idea?  It seems to me that I may be able to get the best of both worlds out of a build like this - the twang of the Tele bridge and the clean tone of the Strat neck.

Comments/thoughts?

This does work fairly well. I saw a build like this in person. I don't know if it was a Warmoth however. But it did sound remarkably like a tele with the neck and bridge combined. I have been setting my strats up with a master volume, master tone, and the second tone knob actually is a blend for the neck pickup. This allows the neck / bridge combo as well as all three and even with just strat pups it gets a good twang. I would just be careful about the selection of the neck pickup to match the tele bridge. There are more mids present in a tele neck pickup so select a pickup with that in mind, or at least get one wound on the lower end so it's nice and woody.
