I have no need for this much firepower, even in 60 watt mode, but have played through one and the "deal" price of $319 is pretty awesome:

It amazes me how many companies still sell 100 watt or better amps and the number of guys who go out for them.

I want a full feature 20 or 30 amp tube rig, This is the 21st century you would think that we could get manufacturers to get with the program, we mike stuff now days.

One better...had band rehearsal last night with our full house PA set up. First time, with no guitar or bass amps on stage. Bass and guitars ran direct in to the PA board, all of using in ear monitors. WOW! I got to really give kudos to my Digitech GSP1101, it sounds like a Marshall stack is mic'd on stage through the PA mains, and then a Mesa, and then a Fender twin, oh and I also have a patch for my Ovation acoustic. Astounding versatility. The front of house mix is nothing short of amazing. I'm stoked to play out live like that, stoked and a little freaked out... :laughing7: Sure hope nothing goes wrong... :laughing7:

Gregg, I am hosting a garage Jam tonight,I will bring out my Vox Stack tonight and fire it up, But I will have it set on 60 watts, that is 30 watts stereo and it will be a beast. I rarely get to fire it up and cannot remember if I have ever had it set at 120 watts. We will be playing outdoors with no mike setup so we will wail. I think we do this about 4 times a year just to be able to pull out our big rigs, I have not needed this much power for a Gig in years,
I am looking for a setup like you just discribed after watching a few Gary Hoey videos. I mean, Get with the times guys. I can walk around 100 yards from my rig and have great signal through my wireless but I cannot find a 20 watt Full featured tube rig so I can play a club.

A 100 Watt amp is what helped lead me to wearing hearing aids.....
Sometimes these bigger amps can do damage that you won't realise has occurred, til much later in life.
Nowadays even a 18 watt Class A amp is too loud and I have had to buy an Iso Cab to crank it and maintain a softer volume.
There's a lot to be said about getting a fully saturated valve (Tube) amp sound, but you have to be careful with the dBs.

I was listening to loud music while reading this, I immediately lowered the volume...

I guess it is because I have been in construction all y life but I wear earplugs on stage

I love my 120..

I considered buying that amp a while back. That particular model (the bugera) is not as loud as you would expect from a 120 watt tube machine. Enough to wreck your ears if you if it's fully cranked and right next to you, but really, it'd probably take a while. Like at least half an hour.  :laughing7:

I'm sure everything will be great.  BTW, I've already giged with my AxeFX Ultra.  Ran a balanced signal to the board - worked like a champ.  Much lighter than an amp  :headbang:

"Bugera" is a word Behringer made up so you're not buyng a Behringer, right? Like "Infinitis" aren't Nissans, which weren't Datsuns.  :laughing8:
