String retainers on an pro angled strat headstock necessary?

I was thinking about all the hardware needed on my new project, and I was wondering if I needed to purchase string retainers if the neck has an angled headstock?

no tees for angled headstocks, EVER. And for the record, I'm not the only one satisfied with no tees on my straight headstocks either. The trick there is to buy them just in case and only put them on if the strings vibrate behind the nut or if they are flying out of the nut when you strum too hard. My strat doesn't do either so I have an extra set of string tees that give me an excuse to build another guitar  :guitarplayer2:

Good to see I am not the only one with that rationale.
"hmm... I have 3 extra volume/tone knobs and 1 humbucker in my parts drawer, guess I can pay my phone bill a little late and order a guitar body off the show room"
It all somehow makes perfect sense in my mind though
