This is an odd one but I thought it would be cool to make a strat based Flying V. It turned out really well thanks to Warmoth.

Everything is as premium as I could afford except the pickups which may get upgraded. For now they are the 57/62 Fenders and sound decent. It has a 7 way switch, so more sounds than I really need but it’s cool to try them out.

I really love the Honey Burst On Mahogany body and I’m a big fan of the binding work. It plays well despite my limited ability to set up guitars. Really happy with the result but now I want an actual strat haha.

Very cool idea ! Beautiful color and I dig the sharp angles on the control cavity cover to flow with the body. Guess I’ve never noticed that on a Warmoth V before.

Have you ever been evaluated for any sort of head trauma?

This is my favorite version from RS Guitarworks:
