Stratacoustic neck....

Are you wanting to know if a Stratacoustic can use a Warmoth neck?

If so the answer is yes, I put a vintage modern on mine...

Strat and teles have different heel dimensions.  Warmoth web site has the dimensions.

Presumably a standard Strat neck pocket, so it wouldn't fit a standard Tele neck(?)

You can put a Strat neck in a Tele pocket, but not vice-versa. It's not a dimensional thing as much as a geometry thing. Tele necks have a square heel, and won't seat properly. Dimensionally, they're essentially the same... in that the width at the heel is 2 3/16", and the mounting hole pattern is the same. But, those squared-off corners on a Tele heel will keep it from fitting a Strat pocket.

While Strat necks will fit/mount in Tele pockets without issue, you'll end up with the square corners of a Tele pocket being visible if you look for them. But, for all intents and purposes, the fretboard overhang and pickguard shapes will all but hide it.

That does look good, Doug.
I like it, but probably should have went with a wider nut width and a flatter FB radii...We live and learn.. :dontknow:
What nut width and radii did you put on it?

Nut is 1.625 and the radius is the compound radius 10-16
Sounds perfect for a solid body. Thanks, I'll remember to go wider and flatter if I ever end up with one.
