I'm thinking about getting an Evertune strat from Warmoth and wonder if I should go with regular pickguard or floyd pickguard?

Well looking at these .... https://www.evertune.com/gallery-factory-installed/gallery-retro-fit-guitars/
2nd strat at the bottom of link

Then looking at the 2 sizes Warmoth have on there pickguard page
http://www.warmoth.com/Pickguard/StratPickguard.aspx

I'll say the standard bridge cut  :icon_thumright:
The Floyd cut, is just way to wide for that bridge.

Could always just send them a email / phone call for conformation.

Hmm by looking at the evertune site, the evertune bridge is a bit wider.
Look at the pickguard screw right at the right side of the bridge and compare the two.

I wouldn't have a problem filing a bit by hand tho  :toothy12:

However one thing that strikes be is the two dark marks close to where the original studs for the tremolo was: I can't see the dark marks on the original pic!!!  :tard:

This one? That is one biggggg hole in there.

I have seen that one, and the price is sure tempting!

But I want it in alpine white and at least one humbucker in the bridge.

If you're trying to suprise or scare me with that big hole I'm not new to this system  :toothy12:

I'm mainly playing metal and probably going to put EMGs in it so I don't think it would make any difference at all!

HAHAHAHA I just went completely retarded and actually laid on order on that one.
:toothy10: :hello2: :toothy12: :help: :occasion14: :party07:

Haha not trying to scare you, but just repeating my thoughts from the first time I saw it. I knew about the system, but hadn't looked into it at all. So I didnt realize it would need so much real estate.

It is rear routed, so you can definitely just add a humbucker rout to the bridge, no?

What did you decide?
