Long time lurker, second time builder here. I continually check posts, mostly everyday, for new "out of the box" pictures and specs as well as the "work in progress" posts to see the amazing projects that all of you have. I confess that all of your projects fuel my need to build another warmoth axe and cannot wait to post my progress of my current build. Please feel free to post your opinions and questions, or reply to any questions that I might post in the near future. I am still, by far, an amature builder and appreciate any input or advice that all of you have to offer.
Here are the specs of my current build:

-Strat body, tigerseye with clear brown back finish.
-Birdseye maple neck, pau ferro fretboard with '59 roundback contour, 6150 frets.
-Fender custom shop '69 pickups
-Wilkinson Vs100 tremolo in chrome
-Schaller mini locking tuners in chrome
-Cts 250k pots, thinking about either traditional wiring or have one push/pull to have the bridge pickup on/off in any position that is selected.
-Black 3 ply pickguard
-Also bought pickup covers, knobs and switch in black, cream and parchment. I couldnt decide on color scheme so, for a minimal price I now have every option I was looking for and will decide when it's all in front of me.

I'll be posting pics in the "just out of box" thread as soon as the package arrives.
Wish me luck, criticisms welcome.

Outstanding pieces there.  Looks like the PF fretboard will match nicely with the tiger eye finish.  I'd probably go with the all black but that's just personal preference.  That's a good idea to just try all the colors and see what you like.  I'll be looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

6150 frets.
Welcome aboard the addiction train ...
On my personal behalf ..... I'm real sorry for encouraging your GAS for another build  :icon_jokercolor:

Go the SSFrets (Stainless Steal) you can thank me later  :icon_biggrin:

All the rest looks great  :icon_thumright:

You know that will be another excuse to build another Warmoth build, having differnet coloured knobs etc.  :laughing7:

I sense a hint of sarcasm lol. I only have myself to blame, but there are some real nice works of art in this forum. It's really overwhelming seeing how much time, blood, sweat and tears go into these builds, and the end products are just outstanding. One in particular that I cannot get enough of is DMRACO's wolfgang build. I'm sure it's been said before but that axe is a real gem. Bagman67's GOtY is sooo easy on the eyes, and i'm sure it sounds/plays just as good as it looks. I'm sure i'm missing a lot of names here that deserve a lot of recognition, as i'm just going by memory.

Here are a couple more shots of the neck and body. Can't get enough of the headstock's pattern.

Keep the GAS commin! \m/

This: +1. You'll be really glad you paid the little bit more. Also, unless you're really wedded to the idea of maple as your neck wood, check out Canary or a Pau Ferro neck. I've really become a Canary convert. Love it on my latest Strat.
