Got another hairbrained scheme that probably won't amount to anything rattling around in the back of my mind, but it requires a covered strat bridge. I know very little about these. Can anyone tell me:
1) where to find them?
2) do they fit any 6 hole trem? Or just specific ones (like the vintage spacing, etc...)
A hard tail version could work with this idea as well, so long as there's a cover that will fit it. The trem actually means more body options though, since it's easier to find 'any trem' than hardtails in the showcase, and there's actually a screaming deal that would work for this.
Also - if I'm looking at any trems, and want a hardtail - I'm wondering about the feasibility of removing the trem block, filling the thru portion of the cavity, and mounting the plate to the unrouted top vs installing a 6 hole and blocking it.
