Stetsbar and Pickups Mounted

Got the neck pickup and Stetsbar installed this evening. First time doing a direct mount on a pickup. Not too much trouble, but kind of wishing I knew more about the foam I used.
The Stetsbar install was basically trouble free. I did have to file away just a fraction of material in the left radius of the pickup opening. Single coil pickup would have just dropped in but Hot Rails was just barely contacting the opening's edge.
Would have wired up the pickups...but have to find the control plate. I have misplaced the darn thing. Probably in the same place as lost my marbles  I get the pickups wired and then start inlaying the neck engraving.

Looking good!

I installed a Hot Rails in a Tele a few years ago and had to modify the opening in the bridge to accept it.

Thanks VB,
You know Seymour Duncan didn't even mention the need for any mods to the bridge. That information might have caused me to pick a different pickup. I will be paying close attention when I build the next Tele.

Curious to know what you make of the Stetsbar once you get the finish the project.
It seems like an interesting idea.

Incidentally, I also intended to install a Hot Rails in a guitar, and it didn't fit (rear route - I would have had to sand away finish in the pickup cavity).  All ended well though - ended up with an Air Norton S, which ended up sounding great in that guitar.

Looking good already. I am also curious to hear what you think of the Stetsbar.
