I've seen the last one, but the second one was SO WICKED!!1 :headbang1:

Yeah the cement truck is a little older, but I figured I would post it just in case somebody hasn't seen it.

I love the slow motion sections.

I want to install one in my car (future car, that is. I guess that's why I choose the Mechanics-course for College :toothy11:)

Nah, I'm with no sound board here, what was the idea on the first two movies? :)
Massive unadulterated, exceptional use of high power for grand scale destruction, just for the fun of it.  :toothy10:

Meh, I'm losing faith in the Mythbusters because I keep seeing them give incorrect electronics/physics information in the show.

During the myth about shattering a crystal glass with sound, their acoustician brought up the notion that perhaps it was the harmonics and not the fundamental that caused the glass to shatter.
Their narrator then elaborated with an on-screen graphic, which looked like this:

I almost fell out of my chair! :tard:

And then there was another myth which I can't remember at the moment, where Grant said something about a "path of induction" when he should have said "path of conduction." :tard:

I'd be with you, but what I know of production tells me that the guy making the graphic doesn't necessarily understand the concept.  I saw a screen shot of a news broadcast talking about the world cup in South Africa with a graphic containing a picture of South America labeled as South Africa.

I'd venture that the guy saying the wrong word was more a misstatement that just got missed in the editing process than him not knowing what he's talking about.  It happens.  It's entirely possible that he doesn't, but I think it is more likely that he just misspoke.

On the note of news having bad pictures...

I'd have given them the benefit of the doubt, but they had an Acoustician on hand for the myth.
Clearly somebody should have known the graphics guy screwed up and raised hell over it before the episode aired.

Maybe they didn't care, or maybe they couldn't afford to fix it? :dontknow:

If he ever saw the graphic I'd be shocked.  That's a completely different part of production done in an office at a completely different time than the filming.  It's a stupid mistake, but they happen.
