It’s just an aesthetic thing for me, I don’t care how big a guitar is. The 7/8 I do like. A 7/8 soloist… top rout… jaguar scale? Mmmm.None of the above: 7/8 S-Style!
But given only the two choices, I'd choose the Soloist, because I don't have one yet.
They both have their charme, depends on what you're looking for I think.
