Soloist case?

Hi guys!

Do any of you know how the Warmoth soloist will fit in a geniune Jackson Soloist case?

Or can I get a "universal" case in which I can customize the padding myself to fit the guitar?

I'm thinking about getting a case for my Warmoth Soloist but I'm not sure how I'll know that it'll fit. I won't be able to bring my guitar to try it.

My soloist has a 3+3 Warmoth style headstock but I don't think that'll be an issue.

Thanks!

You might want to look at these. Very nice cases at a more than reasonable price. Designed for Strat and Strat-like guitars, the long interior dimension is 41 3/4". Measure your fiddle from tip to tip and that'll tell you whether it'll fit.

Not good on your leather upholstery though.  :laughing7:

Yeah, they're not exactly silk gig bags. But, I buy cases to protect the guitars, not the stuff around them <grin>

The jackson cases are completely fitted. At least mine is. They won't because of the neck joint area. I had to modify mine to make it work. So I guess the answer is yes and no. :guitarplayer2:

As far as the headstock thing goes that's a slight issue too. The inline would seem longer but since it's angled it's really not. I have a Dinky with a 3x3 headstock and it is too tall. It is pointy though. :dontknow:

I have a SKB strat style case that pulls double duty for my Warmoth strat & Warmoth soloist.  It's perfectly snug around the strat with just a little extra room for the soloist, but not too much.  My soloist was over $2000 and I have no reserves about keeping it in that case.

Skb does make cases for the soloists, I'd say that would something to look into......But truley if the warmoth soloist is a dublicateof the jackson, then there shouldn't be an issue, and I doubt the neck joint would cause any problems as pabloman mentione, it's the same as the jackson....Or you could always just take it to guitar center and ask to try out a jackson case..... :dontknow:

Warmoth doesn't make a REAL soloist. These are neck thru. So if you get an actual Jackson soloist case the neck joint are is definately different

True, but the Dinky is virtually the same guitar as the soloist, just has a bolt on neck. Soloist/Dinky fit the same case... :icon_biggrin:

Exactly and for the third time now the neck joint is the issue. :guitarplayer2:
Do you have a Jackson soloist case? If so, then take it to guitar center, get a soloist and a dinky. Try them both out in the case, if one or the other don't fit, then tell me I'm wrong....

Do I need to get the crayons and draw a picture???? I have a Jackson Soloist case and a Jackson Dinky guitar. IT DOESN'T FIT BACAUSE OF THE NECK JOINT. I have already stated this. I'm not sure what you aren't understanding. I guess you don't have to believe me if you don't want to. I never understood the point of arguing about something when you don't really know for sure :dontknow:

Make this thread a poll for whether of not the crayons should be gotten out or not.
I brought mine....I keep them in a telecaster case... :icon_biggrin:

I know that it fits perfectly in a Fender Strat case.  Don't know about the Jackson case, But I can't see why it wouldn't.
