That guy is a hack - caring nothing for the finish of the guitar, in where he lays the pickguard, and how he handles the iron, and the lack of protection for the finish  - just a hack!

I like their line about "Soldering can actually be fun and even meditative." Gee, and I thought it was a pain in the ass - gotta hone up my Zen here, I spoze. :cool01:

I dont see that as a big issue but everyone should decide for themselves how best to protect their instruments, take the good bits, if any and discard the rest,  if there are soldeing tips included in that video that need correction please let us have them, it would help me and I am sure others a great deal. :icon_thumright:
