A great deal of thought has gone into this decision, but I’ve determined that I will play this Tele much more in standard tuning than in its current Baritone configuration, it gets used for recording in open chords on the right speaker to complement tracks recorded on the 7 string on the left speaker. I would like to play it more live, like at church on the worship team or other.
This neck was a gift to me by Ken Warmoth in 2009 when I worked there, and it is what spearheaded this build.
It has a rock maple shaft, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, 6100 Fretwire, and hardly any fret wear. Finish is a light coat of true oil, just enough to grain fill and level. I’ve only had to adjust the truss rod once in 14 years. Gotoh Tuners included.
