Thinning the herd, and after building two 6-string down-tuned guitars, I don't need a 7-string for that low B. Replaced the stock generic pickups that came with the kit with a set of red DiMarzio Titans for bridge & neck plus a single-coil DiMarzio Blaze in the middle.
