They would if you send them a full scale plan or you can buy a body blank with neck pocket, pickup, control cavity pre-routed except the body shape.  A jigsaw will get you there.

The USACG is probably a one-off, they do a lot of hand work there and can build you just about anything you want, for a price of course. That cut doesn't even look like it's be hard to add to an existing body, BTW. Swamp ash is really soft... my favorite wood saw these days is a tungsten carbide blade in a hacksaw, it'll rip through maple. To get that curve, I'd drill some holes and saw up to them, then take out the connecting tissue with a chisel. Three hours, tops, including rasping and sanding to the finishing stage. First, three days agonizing over drawings. :laughing7:

I talked to Tommy @ USACG and he said they will definitely cut that body. I can't remember the upcharge... it was $30 or $50.

don't know about USACG but in the past i believe Warmoth hand cut a lot of the one off stuff, but a bit over a year back i remember them looking for a new CNC guy, and since some new features and bodies have become a reality. maybe for an up charge and a long wait they can program what you ask, or it can be done by hand by a person willing to do the work. if i worked at warmoth i'd have no problem mirroring half of a tele blueprint but there custom order policy seems to ask for a fully detailed drawing if i remember right. i guess it cant hurt to get on the phone. but hopefully gregg or wylee will find this thread and give a definate answer so then we all know!
