So Whats the Deal With Warrior Guitars?

There's no bridge pickup.

Because Jesus is the bridge... to heavenly tone.

Disclaimer: I clown people who use (yes, use) religion for profit. I don't make fun of religion even though its not my thing. Like most of us, I have heard plenty of horror stories about Christian businesses or businesspersons. It depresses me, because we'd like to think these people were more virtuous, not less, in everything they do, and on the other 6 days of the week. Again, that's their fault, not religion's.

My sister loves to forward those suspiciously perfect emails that almost always turn out to be hoaxes. I caused a ruckus in my family when I responded to that falsified Ben Stein email my sister sent me (and about 50 other people, all of whom got my reply too!) by pointing out that Jesus doesn't want us to lie in his name (he doesn't need it) and checking these oh-so-convenient emails on, say, www.snopes.com is not heresy and takes all of one minute. Perjury and sloth are sins, last I checked. My mother asked me when I would apologize to my sister about saying that lying and being stupid in the name of Jesus is a sin. I told her I'd do it when they stopped being a sin. Christmas should be... special.

Yeah, I don't know what Jesus would think about all the people throughout history who have made a living out of selling Jesus memorabilia.

1% share and he would be a very rich man

i actually REALLY like the "Warrior Signature" model. definitely a PRS rip-off design, but it's pretty damn cool! especially the purple quilt!

What makes you think they're super Christian?

Jesus Christ!!!!
MULLY
not sure if the pun as intended or not
Hahaha, I was just about to say the same thing.... :icon_biggrin:

They need to lay off drinking the bong water. I've played a couple their guitars at the Dallas guitar show a few years back, nothing about them worth the money they ask...

As a Christian I'll acknowledge that there are alot of weird Christians out there, and it kinda creeps me out to see them marketing this kinda stuff the way they do, but honestly, no matter what you believe, no one should be making these kind of blanket statements about any religion.

I'm sure he doesn't like it too. I don't agree with alot of the evangelical sentiments that encourage many Christians to "market" Jesus as a logo or a product to try to get converts. Nobody gets converted by it and its disrespectful of a Christian's own religion. It's truly sad to for me to see this sort of thing coming from the church, but they are after all still human like the rest of us...

Back on topic:

I'd spend $5000 on one of these before I'd spend $25000 on a limited edition Gibson.

At the risk of starting a fight, I get the sense that Warrior guitars (as a company) are VERY Christian...

And we all know how good Christian organizations are at BS'ing for money.

While I dont mind the discussion of how or how little "Chirstian" that company is, or anything else for that manner.  That last statement, and the entire turn of this thread is highly offensive, and has zero place on this board.

I kind of like them.. they seem to do things a little different (alder necks?)
but then again, I would never pay that much money for a (Custom) guitar!

oh, and does it come with a WWJP bracelet?

Looks like nice fret ends, sloppy inlays, weird string attachments. If you read the history of the early Christian church, all that anointing stuff was rubbing sperm & menstrual blood on the heads of the new converts - when the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, the Catholic church sent out a "translator" who started sending out press releases to try to "spin" the information, even before the official translations were released. Many, many Christians are woefully ignorant of their roots... read all about it:

All your popular religions started out as weird, perverse cults, I don't want any guitar that somebody else has been "anointing" that's fer sure. :party07:

You're right, and I apologize.
