Apparently, Fender Marauders, the guitar there, never made it past the prototype stage. Only a handful were made. There were two types, some with strat-style pickups, and the others had some monster pickups under the pickguard. I love the clean look.

I have a friend that has a Maurauder...I think Fender made 25 of them as a prototype but never produced. His is in mint condition. He got it from a ex-fender employee that had 20+ years with the company. Leo gave it to him as a retirement gift but he was a bass play so stuck it under his bed for many years. My friend bought it off this guy at a guitar show about 8-9 years ago. They also have one on diplay at the fender museum in corona.

The Ibanez & Firebird are what influenced the one I cut out of a paddle head for my seven-string:

They seem to have one-track minds down there in Brazil, a possible reason why there are so many little Brazilians running around..... :blob7:

The regular Fender headstock is, actually, kinda wierd.... what's that knob for?!?

I bought a Roadstar in like '85 when they first came out. Wasn't a bad guitar, played pretty good for $300, but that was a lot of money to me in '85. Didn't keep it very long though, I sold it and bought a Kramer Beretta....

Haven't seen him in years he used to own a guitar shop in SLC called vintage rocker don't know if he still does or not though.

Yeah, I like the bottom one more, but I think I'd seriously dig the other headstock on it. He's got a small strat headstock on it now.

Some notes. The p90s would be white, but I've spent enough time just finding acceptable creme covers. The knobs will be white top hat, much like these:

Button tuners, or whatever they're called.
