Is anyone else having difficulty staying connected to this site? For the last couple days the lag from here has been horrendous, exceeding a minute sometimes, other times non-responsive for so long the connection times out, but always dead slow. I don't think it's me or my connection, as I'm not having any trouble anywhere else. Anybody heard anything? New server, new service provider, new spyware? NSA or DOJ or FBI using up too much bandwidth?
 
Yep, it's been (intermittently) slow for me for the couple of days. I've noticed that where it usually shows something like "Page created in 0.139 seconds with 9 queries" at the bottom of the page, it's been showing up to 50 seconds. Suggests server-side problems to me - but probably caused by FBI/CIA/UKIP/...
 
Yes, it's been terrible for me for the last few days - as in reload a page and surf somewhere else in another tab bad. Only this site.

Seems better today. Hoping it's fixed.
 
it still feels slow to me.  Anyone officially complained yet?  Maybe they don't know about it.
 
Yip, me too. Thought it was my ISP at first but I have no other issues with other site, so Warmoth must be having some server problems again.. :dontknow:
 
Me too as well also - when I saw this topic as the newest I at least felt relieved I wasn't the only one.  I have a different ISP at work than home and am having the same issue via both.

It has been like this for the last week both at work and at home.
I too am glad I am not the only one.  I thought my computer was wackin' out...

Yes, I've been having trouble for about a week, but it seems to be getting a lot worse.

At first I assumed it was because Eric left the company and he must have been working some magic, but upon further thought I'm going with blaming the NSA.  They seem to be behind a lot of the problems we face here in the United States, so it would make perfect sense that they are jacking with our bandwidth here on the forum.
 
Definitely server-side if it's been felt all over. Been slow for me all week too. Occasionally a good response, then back to sllloooowwww.

Also, when I post a message and get the "What was last year" question, it returns me an error unless I put in "2011". Now that's really funky. :dontknow:
 
I contacted Warmoth about this, and apparently they're making some changes, doing some maintenance, etc. and this should pass soon. No real details, just that they're aware of the issue and it's being addressed. So, no worries.
