Shorter Strat trem arm?

A buddy of mine has a Strat, and he hates the length of the trem arm. He thinks he's seen someone like Jeff Beck with a shorter version. Does anyone know about this or where one can be obtained?

Thank you in advance!

He's probably thinking of David Gilmour:

These guys sell a variety of Strat trem arms and tips. Perhaps something there would interest him.

I really like those shorter ones, and I've always hated the little plastic end on some Fender trem arms. I wonder... Maybe they'll be my go-to if I build a superstrat with vintage trem. Good link :icon_biggrin:

I don't like the little plastic ends, either, but what I really don't like about them is they indicate that it's a thin Fender-style arm, which is kinda bendy. I like the heavier arms used on Wilkinson bridges.

Me too ... but they're a bitch to bend straight and the resulting metal fatigue wrinkles aren't pretty.
