Seeking recommendation for online retailers in EU

Hi, folks -


My lovely daughter has graduated high school and is leaving us today to become an au pair in Paris for a year.  I want to set up an account with a general-service online retailer for her to pick up computer accessories, clothing, whatever - and I'm looking for recommendations.  If Amazon is the best choice, that works for me, but if there's a preferable France or European Union-based retailer that will do a better job, I'm interested.


Thanks in advance.  I'm gonna go weep a little bit as I prepare to put her on the plane this afternoon.

Well Amazon, are big here and so for a lot of things a good place to go.

Next can be quite good for clothing and household bits and pieces and they also ship to France.

And of course Paris, is full of shops with all sorts of prices.

She needs to be careful when getting Taxis, to only get them off an official rank or via a booking. There are sometimes folks offering Taxi services who are not licensed.

If Paris, gets boring London, is a couple of hours or so by the Eurostar from Paris.
