Hey Guys/Gals,

Here is a pic of my first build. The neck has a nice bird's eye pattern and abalone fret markers. The body is pretty lightweight and IMHO, the finish is top notch. The pic guard is a 3-ply parchment(may change to a 1-ply 50's style in the near future) w/ Abby wound CS 69s with a 5-ways switch. The neck is reamed for vintage tuners. I can finally have the hard tail Stratocaster that I've always wanted. More pics to follow as I make progress on the build.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the build.

So far it looks a good combination.

Nice! SFG/maple is on my short list of someday projects

I have a similar dream. :glasses10: Look forward to watching you pursue yours.

Nice....I built a Powder blue mixed with Seafoam green and it really turned out nice

Very nice! Really love that combo of colors: the green, the white and he maple neck. One of the first strays I ever saw looked just like it. Good luck on the build

Sweet.  I just re-painted a brown burst Mao-caster with maple fretboard and white pickguard to SFG and I really like the look. A classic '57 Chevy with strings.
