I want to install my Floyd rose but for the life of me i cannot find a tutorial anywhere not even on the Schaller website or Floyd Rose websites.Hope you can help
Thank's ???

Is this in a Warmoth body, are the insert bushings already in place?

Could you provide more information on what aspect you need help with?

It is a warmoth body with Stud Install: Use inserts from bridge.I do not want to make any mistakes, for example how far i have to screw in Tremolo Claw And Bridge

If Warmoth is inserting the bushings for you that will help.

1. Install claw.
2. Install posts into bushings
3. Put Floyd through the body from front locating it on the posts. (You need to be able to hold it in place until you get the next step done and you need something to stop it crashing into the body such as a rubber block)
4. Attach springs between claw and trem block.

This video from Fender although this is not a Floyd tremolo installing it is similar.

Another video from Fender which has a good tip on floating the tremolo. Again not a Floyd but the principle is the same.

After that, it is mainly adjustment of height, intonation etc.

ESP has a few specific videos on that.  (Note the videos I think are now in order but watch them a few times)

Adjusting the trem claw is a matter of setup - balancing the tension of the strings versus the springs. There is no exact dimension or spec to target.

Thats a good video.

I did not see if you are using a recessed/floating set up of the non recessed.

If you are using the non-recessed, I usually tighten the claw and springs until the floyd is securely touching the body.  Obviously you will not be able to pull up on the bar.  As a side, with a set up like this is do put a small piece of adhesive felt (the little dot stops you can buy at and hardware) on the underside of the floyd where it touches the body.  I do not want METAL/WOOD contact.  you can tithed more if you want.  The more you tighten, the stiffer the bar will feel.  Its all personal taste.

If it is a floating system, I tighten until the body of the guitar and floyd ad totally parallel.  I am sure the video outlines that

I updated the post above with some more videos. So you should have all the information to get the job done.
