So, anyone ever use one of these in the front of their Amp
(I have 100w marshall)?

I was thinking about pairing it with a BBE Sonic Stomp, get that real seperated High gain Cali punk tone... Ala Pulley/Bad religion.

Isn't that pedal modelling, amp, cab and mic placement ? If so it may not sound good into the front of an amp if it's designed for direct use without an amp.

Plus the Micing options.. you can't bypass them.
I did a little more research and I think I am gonna go with a BBE Crusher for tone shaping, and use the sonic stomp for it's Frequency separation.

Supposedly it is. I have the Behringer knock off and, IMO it's just another distortion pedal, albeit a decent one. Straight into the board it suffers from all the foibles of most any other pedal.

That sounds like a better plan for your intended set up I think.

@swarfrat, for a pedal size modeller I look forward to seeing what the Amplifire will do. It will do full modelling  or partial modelling and could suit both the type of thing of going into the front of an amp or as a full modelling direct to board solution.

The April date mentioned in the article was pushed back a few weeks while the final pre release tweaks are done.
