Sanding Sealer on "unfinished" necks or bodies?

Someone on another forum just told me that all Warmoth "unfinished" necks and bodies actually do have a Sanding Sealer applied before they get shipped out.

Can anyone confirm?

And if true, is there anything one must do to/with/about this Sanding Sealer before applying a finish?

Cagey had a post on here about it.  I think it's put on for shipping purposes. It's so incredibly thin and irrelevant as to amount to a big nothing.

So me ... I've done nothing and treated it like it never existed.  No problems.  Necks accept dyes and oils and paint.

As to the bodies, I believe your source is misinformed, and doesn't know the full story.

Why don't you call big W tomorrow and get the real scoop?
