It's a bit darker than the pictures indicate (and I'm a horrible photographer).
There's some pretty wide grains on the side, but overall, I'm happy with it - it's definitely quite different than anything else I've ever seen (in person).
I bought it for my orange Jazzmaster, but since it's going to be several months until I'm ready to put that together, I'm probably going to temporarily put it on my silver Jazzmaster.
