Rio Grande TX BBQ set wiring question

Got a set of gold RG TX BBQ pickups for my VIP build, didn't realize when I ordered the body that the "third hole" was for a 3-way switch rather than a 3/8" for a rotary. OK with that, got a gold 3-way switch for that; question is, do I use normal 500K pots and just wire it straight like a Santana III, or use a couple of push/pull pots and coil tap it like a Dave Navarro model?

Who's used this humbucker set coil tapped? Opinions???

Opinion:
Put the push/pull... In the worst possibility, if you don't like it, it'll work as good as the 'normal' 500k pot...
