Does ANYone make replacement pickups for the Ibanez "Soundgear" 5-string bass?  I haven't been able to find any.
The stock pickups sound good, BUT are out powerful (loud) enough.

It has a Active/Passive switch.

The pickups themselves are passive, but the bass has an internal preamp with active EQ.

Hey I've got one of those - don't suppose you have the black dyed top?

I never use it, just wanted to have a bass in the house for recordings I never really do

It's solid gloss black. It's really pretty decent. I just wish the output was louder.

Try a new onboard EQ.. Like an Audere or Bartolini....
If your bass has the POS "Bartolini" (Chinese crap edition) pick-ups,
Bart makes USA made replacements as well....

Audere :http://www.audereaudio.com/index.htm
Bartolini: http://www.bartolini.net/information/bass/new_bass_pu_s.htm
