Does anyone have a tip on how to remove the metal Warmoth logos without damaging the underlying finish?

Ya know Gary, I like you, I think we like the same kind of music, and heck, we even agree on some things once in a while.  But I'll tell you, green is not a good color on you, man.  :icon_thumright:

If its a Warmoth finish I don't think much will harm them.  Lighter fluid wont even hurt lacquer though.

Do you think a mildly warm soldering iron work as well (to loosen the glue) ?

I'd try the soldering iron first.
I have a heat gun that is used for shrink wrapping CDs ( it's like a nuclear hair drier on steroids ) and I'd not point it at any guitar finish.

I'm in for the lighter fluid, but no heat method.  Using heat... no soldering gun, way hot.  How about a warm hair drier on it for just a minute or so?
