That sounds very workable. A blend pot would be another way to wire it but then you'd need to drill a hole for another control.bassetman said:It is wired like a Tele but with the middle pickup on a push pull. The bucker works really well with the trons especially with the bridge pu. The crackle finish is gorgeous.

It looks really good in the photos so it must be spectacular in person.

Good suggestion.
Whatever floats your boat, Brother. My choice would be ebony, but I can definitely see the maple working. The cream bobbin in the zebra pup anchors it nicely. :icon_thumright:bassetman said:I think I like the lighter colored neck....it’s short scale.
Logrinn said:I like the (medium scale*) maple neck, but would personally put a chrome cover on the humbucker. I find zebra coils often clash with most things on a guitar. I think the chrome would bring the three pickups together nicely.
I have a Chrome one and may try it ....but I like zebra buckers,
* an explanation of scale length according to Logrinn:
24” = perfect scale
24,75” = medium scale
25,5” = long scale
