liked doing the velocity so much, I decided to reclaim a horrible... I don't even want to call it a burst tele body into a vintage amber burst.  I'm planning on distressing it a bit as well.. This guitar build stuff is a bit like only one tattoo, right.

That's a great project to undertake. Looking forward to seeing your results. And yes, I recon partscasters are as expressive and addicting as tattoos. I got the partscaster bug when I returned to playing after having quit for a number of years and being aghast at what big name manufactured guitars were going for. No thanks, better to have the components you really want for a bit less when said and done.  :headbang5
