I too hadn't heard about this brand or seen this bridge and had to look it up.
And I agree that it looks really cool.
But I was surprised as well over the fact that this bridge actually lets the winding of the ballend, the part that's always behind the saddle, be part of the vibrating string.
I wonder how that affects the sound? Surely that winding acts as something that would dampen the vibrations, no? Any bass players out there who can shed some light on this?
