Working up a new strat build.  Specs so far are -

Alder/Ash..
Gotoh 1996T - debating on top mount vs recessed
Maple/CBS/6150 or 6100
HxS w/pickguard


Was going for something 70's inspired and relatively humble, but this spoke to me.  Need to go back to the drawing board.

I cut and pasted a fender floyd/pickguard assembly in.  Just for the rough idea.  No zebra for me, either.  Would be HXS with a LP style toggle.

Shifting gears - this is a better look for me.  Undecided on HW color, however.

That's a good look for anybody. If it was me, I'd be looking at a black Ebony over roasted Maple modern construction Warhead neck w/ stainless frets.
