I noticed that the "Radiant Z" was the only guitar of this shape posted in the "misc" thread. I am curious about this shape, and would like to know more about it.
Where did it originate (obvious strat from Fender, and LP from Gibson, and VIP from PRS)? Is the Hetfield/Lawrence (sinister) headstock its matching counterpart?
* Is it possible to do a carved top/semi-hollow w/"f" hole version?
Is it comfortable playing sitting down?
I always wondered why the JagStang looked like it was missing something in the hump (forearm contour) and "z" fills that curve. But I am also wondering if that "knife-edge" of a hip bone shaped tummy contour could not be rounded out a bit more like a Les Paul body shape (THE curviest/shapely body IMHO).
Could the lower horn not also be extended slightly, like the shape of a Mockingbird's lower horn to balance the upper horn, which is very cool/sexy/dangerous.
Is the "Z" a B.C. Rich creation?
I think this shape has potential and could be "improved"
I am also thinking Dual Phat Cats w/Piezo Stop Tailpiece.
Thanks in a advance.
