Question on Warmoth Standard Thin contour

What I can tell you for sure is that if you're leaning toward a slim neck, you don't want the boatneck profile - that sucker is HUUUUGE.  I'm getting used to it on Bête Noire, but it's a shift for sure.

Any "against" on the tone?
The '59 doesn't seem so thinny on this drawn, but I never get excited on the dimentions.... Might try the Boat, some people says it cools, I tried a V-ish profiled neck and seemed cool!

I find the boatneck/fatbacks to be a little bit thin for my hands, so if you have large hands... Fatback it up.

Perfect! Thanks for that comparison. I guess I'm leaning towards the Wizard contour, although I could probably live with any of them. The Am. Std. actually looks thinner than the Warmoth Std. Thin.

Sometime in the late 90's I think, don't remember exactly when I bought it... :dontknow:

Don't know, maybe mine was miss marked, but it's pretty beefy for what was suppose to be a standard thin. Or the Fender neck I have is unusually thin... :dontknow:

Could be, or maybe my american is chunky! I'd have to go and play a few at a shop and compare.
