Cool, he even makes a Jazzmaster look cool :laughing7:

Actually a Jaguar, but, yes, he does make it look cool.

And yes, comedy does indeed belong in music

They’re easy to get wrong and I never could them right myself ... until I got my own Jaguar.
Also, Five Watt World is a great help in getting to know the little details about all things guitar related. Like the Jaguar;

I once read a book about songwriting, and they said something to the effect of "Don't ever use puns or plays on words in songs... unless you're writing country."

I didn't know about it being on Roku, I'll have to check that out. Hee Haw was disliked by the Exec's, panned by the critics, and some complained about it recreating the "Hillbilly" image that country tried to lose. But it turned out to be one of the most popular shows ever and the Artists loved doing it. People loved it and still do....................... :icon_thumright:

I loved Hee Haw!  and so did John 5 apparently:

I think I've said it before, but Country Music (at least back then) was so full of self parody that it's hard to find the real thing. But the Hee Haw after dinner song at the end of the show is where you'll find some of the most beautiful examples of "what country really is when it's being serious" to be found anywhere on the planet.

I watched an episode with Roy Clark Glen Campbell Bill Monroe and Mel Tillis .... People were influenced by Roy's show whether they know it or not.

Ps you can get a roku for $20.

Buck Owens fixed my chainsaw. Not that one but he does play guitar.
