I've got a wenge/bubinga neck on my Bass VI, and I love it.

That looks like it's going to be a beautiful bass.

I'm a bit worried that your strings won't line up with the pickup polepieces though.  Seymour Duncan makes their 5-string MM pickups for narrow spacing.  But I don't want to be a nitpicker.  It'll probably work just fine.

EDIT:  It looks like you ordered the "narrow" spaced Takeuchi bridge for the "wide" Gecko.  That isn't going to work very well.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday, I'm just going to go with the small size, it will work just as well!

OK, cool.  Let me know when you receive all the parts and try putting everything together.  If that narrow Takeuchi bridge ends up not working out, then I may have a wider version of the Takeuchi bridge for you.
