Push-Push pot question

I do love the push-push pot on my ESP guitar.
I am thinking of using the  push-push pots for my new Warmoth guitar.
H-S-H config and will have 1 vol and 1 tone, 5 position mega swithch.
tone pot will have coil tap and vol pot will do the blower circuit.

Now I read many comments about the push-push pot being flimsy and unreliable.
Please share your experience and tell me who sells the best Push-push pot.
By the way, I don't see any problem with the push-push pot on my ESP.

Thanks!!!

The ones from Warmoth are flimsy. Or at least that was my experience about five years ago.

If you don't mind being limited to Fender-style knobs (Strat or Tele flat-top), the S-1 pot is a really nice choice. The actual top of the knob itself presses inwards rather than the entire knob. And it's a very versatile switch too - it's a 4PDT switch which gives you more options than the DPDT switch built in to push/pull and push/push pots.

I have used (and still uses) the ones Warmoth sells. They work and don't feel "flimsy" whatever that is  :laughing7:

I haven't used the warmoth one.  I have used the ones on Ibanez guitars.  I hate that you can't tell what position its in cold.  That's why I prefer the push-pull.

:icon_scratch: A push-push have the same distances as a push-pull in the two positions. The benefit here is that you always have to do one thing only - push.

I've used Push-Push in all of my Warmoth's and will use in #4.

Can't say how they would hold up in a road type situation.

The nice thing IMO is that you don't have to rely on your grip on a knob to switch modes.

No worries about sweaty hands etc.
