Anyone have a guitar made out of Purpleheart?  I'm curious to see how one looks with a gloss finish on it.

I oiled the body, and now, she's got a slight glossy look. satin gloss I believe its called. Its not really PURPLE, cause it will turn brown VERY fast. its not brown like mahogany or coffee, it will retain its purple hue, its very classy imho. and paired with a RW back, its very much like a Les paul tone. but just a tad more fat.
