Questions. ESP ltd mh-250nt, is it a stupid idea to put 2 jacks, have one go to 1 effects chain to the amp, and have the other go through my big muff to the amp, and be able to switch between jacks. And please don't tell me how I can just use cheap electronic stuffs instead. Also, I want to build a z4 bass with an Ibanez atk bridge, anyone have an atk and can tell me what sort of pickups fit? http://www.drumsetc.com/Details.asp?Product=11901&List=276&PL=&PH=
And can anyone tell me about drums etc.?

Thanks!

Adding another jack to the guitar is a bit overkill. Just get one of these:

...and then take your two paths from there.

"Stupid" may be too strong a word, but I'd say it's not a great idea.

You're much better off with an ABY box such as this. It'll allow you to plug your bass in and send it down one signal path or the other or both. Toss a 9v battery in it and you'll even have LED indicators, although the battery isn't needed to function.

The box can be run in reverse as well, if you want to combine either or both of two signal sources into a single output.

You can also keep the capability if you decide to change instruments, which can be handy if you have multiple instruments. Also, if you built that capability into the instrument itself, the next owner may not appreciate it.

The meaning of this atrocity????!!!!!

j.k., but my ltd will never have a "next owner". :icon_biggrin: She's my Baby. :binkybaby:
What about the other stuff?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I used to be a "one guitar" kinda guy, too. But, I eventually learned - it just ain't natural <grin>

As for the other stuff, I'm assuming you mean the ATK bridge and Drums, Etc.? I know nothing.

Thanks. I'm not a one guitar guy, I have 8. I love four of them - Old Gibson acoustic, fender u.s.a. tele, fender jaguar custom 12 string, real wierd... I'll post pics sometime... and my ltd.

@pelagaard... I meant ordering guitar parts from drums etc... they carry the ibanez atk bridge.
