Not a fan of the body shape, but I LOVE the combination of woods, especially that (what seems to be) Pale Moon Ebony fretboard!!  :icon_biggrin:

I saw a block of that ebony at a woodworking shop this weekend.  About the size of a SMALL lunch box.  They were asking over $100 for it.  The color was so distinct it looked like a black and white cookie!!

And I thought Ziricote was expensive! I can only imagine how much a fretboard sized plank would set someone back!  :sad:

ziricote's not that expensive. I bought a piece just recently 3/8" x 2.5 x 20 for around $24

The pieces I've seen were about 2" x 3 x 27 and had a lot of sapwood and had a lot of figure (though figuring is subjective), they ran about 3-400. Good to know that those prices aren't the norm.
