Probably an Easy answer for a 3 way switch...

I understand this diagram for wiring a 2 humbucker, 1 volume, 2 tones with a 3 way switch.

The bottom of my switch looks like this diagram.

Will this diagram work for a 3 way switch like I have?  Do I just use one side, just the odd numbers.  Would that mean it would be the neck tone connected at 7, the bridge tone connected at 1, and the volume connected at 3+5?

First guitar wiring experience, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

This should help :)

I wired one tele switch that way and the middle position didn't work.  After further inspection I had to mirror the solder pattern so that the wire that is soldered to lugs 7, 5, 4, and 2 became soldered to 8, 6, 3, and 1.  I can't remember if it was the left or the right, but the middle position didn't work, and all that was needed was to mirror the solder job.
