Premier Guitar: make a baritone w/Warmoth neck

The latest Premier Guitar has a "DIY" article about putting a Warmoth baritone neck on a Fender Telecaster. It's sort-of pretty much OK... I did send them a (hopefully constructive?) post about a few things. #1, they advocated using the old screws on the new neck, which is fine until you want to install the old neck somewhere, because there are at least four different kinds of #8 screws that I've seen, and some of them are a but bigger in the shaft, some a bit smaller in the threads... I always keep track: one neck=one set of screws. The adventure starts when you use a (new) set of smallish #8's on a neck that was threaded with it's original largish #8's - see the goof with neck in one hand while the body boingos around merrily on it's strap? :tard:

And they seemingly didn't know the trick of letting the string tension pull the neck tight to the pocket? And they advocated gluing in the nut WAY before it's finished, and as veteran nutters know, that's awfully confident, especially for a first-time nut maker... And they also don't know about WAXING YER FRICKIN' SCREWS, ya doothead... oh well, I did tell them about this place. No response as of yet.
