The first mini switch splits the neck and bridge pickups to single coil mode the other activates the neck pickup regardless of position of five way selector. Master volume ,1st tone for neck and middle, 2nd tone bridge then of course 5 way switch

Ok seems like a good set of selections.

It seems a little Gilmour inspired with some twists here and there.  Either way, you should have a fine instrument when it's done.

The body finally arrived last night......worked on it a couple hours before bed. Still have to install jack and do setup. But so far so good

String ferrules went in super easy. The everything axe pickups were a very very tight fit. I'm a little concerned that when I get ready to do setup and adjust pickup height that I may not be able to set them low enough due to tight fit inside cavity

Well since starting the assembly process I've run into a few setbacks and also made some changes to my original concept... first issue was the graphtech saddles. Two of them cracked during installation so I've ordered a set of GFS solid titanium vintage style saddles. Second issue is the cavity needed to be routed a bit more due to pickups hanging up inside could not adjust height. Third issue was the prewired everything axe set I got from sigler music did not come with a tone cap. I'm guessing was just an oversight on their part. Didn't notice until I had them in and tone wasn't working. And of course there is no where in driving distance that carries caps so ordered several from stew mac...

I also decided to go with the gotoh vintage staggered height tuner set.... swapped the pickup height tubing for some nice springs...sanded the finish off of back of bridge plate and body paint under the bridge as well as sanding finish from bottom of neck all for a better wood to wood contact....

Installed the new gotoh vintage staggered... still waiting on the tone cap and titanium saddles
