Pickups for an HSS Strat

I decided on my third guitar.  It is going to be an HSS strat, but I am unsure of what kind of pickups to use.  Any advice?

Seymour Duncan TB-59 or TB-12 for the Bridge.  Dimarzio DP- 149 for neck and middle.

If you went SSS what would you put in the bridge?  I am still waffling a little bit between a "standard" type strat or something a little more versatile.

honestly, there are thousands of pickups that can do what your asking, so it would really help us to know what to tell you if you can describe some more specific sounds that you want from your guitar.

I am looking for cleaner sounding pickups.  Nice and bright sounding, but not brittle.  More John Mayer than Jimi Hendrix.  I can cover harder stuff or warmer sounding songs with my P90 Tele or HB PRS.

Then get some Big Dippers or some Torres BUZCUTs. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Good, descriptive starting point.  Sounds like you're looking for a set that gives a scooped mid sound instead of a boosted mid sound.
