Pickup Rings Question.....

  I am planning a build with a rear control cavity and bridge & neck S Duncan humbuckers.
(The body will have no pick guard). I am planning on the 720 mod which will lower the neck in the pocket to make up for having no pick guard.

- Has anyone had any issues with the pickup ring on the bridge pickup hitting the neck?

I don't like the look of body mounted pickups and definately want to use pickup rings on the bridge & neck pickups.

I don't think you'll have any issue. Personally, I always use metal rings because I think they look better, plus there's never any height problem.

Excuse me- I meant to say the neck pickup ring. I wanted to make sure the neck wouldn't hit the neck pickup ring. DERP!
