Pickguard Screws

So apparently I forgot to order screw when I ordered my pickguard, ooops, so now I need some. Problem is Warmoth's $25 order minimum (lame, imo) and I have nothing else that I need. What are the specs / can I get these screws somewhere else? For a Fender Jazzmaster pickguard, if that matters.

I replaced all the pickguard screws in my MIM strat with stainless because the originals all rusted, and that's not classy.

Yeah, Stewart Macdonald.  Honestly I think Warmoth should just have a direct link to their site after you order your guitar for any little tidbits your forgot or may need to set it up.

The screws are:

#4 x 1/2" Oval head Stainless Steel.

You should be able to find them at a local hardware store. I mean a real hardware store not one of the big box stores. They don't carry bupkis* these days.

I just went into the local guitar shop and they had a box of pickguard screws and pulled out 8 for me.

"What, did you lose every single screw for your pickguard or something?"

Sounds to me like the OP really wants to do another project though. Good excuse to get started on another by bumping up the order to the minimum purchase amount with stuff for the new one, he he.. :evil4:

i love stewmac, but their shipping prices are ridiculous! i think i'd just order another pickguard (you know there were 2 different colors you were thinking about!). thats what i'd do. you'd still pay shipping, but at least you'd get to play with some cool pickguard color options too :icon_biggrin:

I'm not sure if " Home Depot" is everywhere, but it is out here on the westcoast, they have bins full of small exotic screws that I have purchased for pickguards, and they have em in black, silver and bronze
