Pete Townsend's extra knob

I thought the lights were cool, but other than that, it was hard to even fathom the thought of The Who without Entwistle. 

It was noticeable that songs were selected that did not feature some of his prowess, they stuck with simple songs that they could cram into a medley & just knocked it out.  Pete's guitar was buried in the mix for what I presume is the fact that he doesn't play that well anymore.

Jeff Beck still gets the high honors for a man in his late 60's who can still own the guitar and the stage, as he proved at the RRHOF show.

I missed it, so I am watching it as we speak... I don't think it is that bad at all... except for the bad mix.. not their best performance, but not as bad as everyone seems to think..

I am a big fan though, and have lowered expectations without Entwistle. Pino Palladino is a great bassist though..

An embarrassing performance.  Billing that as "The Who" is a travesty.  Note that when Jimmy Page and Robert Plant get together, they don't call it "Led Zeppelin."

Because it was not all the remaining, living members.  If/when they got together with John Paul Jones, it was/will be called Led Zeppelin.

Gay doesnt bother me....but I agree about Pete being a diddler.

True, they gay not so much, I mean I got ove Rob Halford being gay. But then again, he's a great singer, Pete's not a great guitar player.
