Perfect for your home studio

Looks nice, but...eh.  Why would I need a second one?

Hehe. Yeah. If it weren't that it was used to record some iconic pieces of work, it would tough to give it away. Most musicians probably have more mixing/processing capability in their iPads than what that console has  :laughing7:

Ah the perfect thing...

This reminded me of this video released a couple of days ago on Youtube.

A fellow called Mark, who lived in the same city as I did growing up bought a few old bits of studio gear. I think it beats my Macbook Pro and UAudio interface :)

It would seem Mr. Knopfler has done rather well for himself. Never mind the gear, that building alone is pretty special.

Yes I just looked it up according to a google search he has an estimated net worth of $ 95 million

Well, that does it. I'm gonna learn to play the guitar. That ain't workin'! That's the way you do it.

Ha ha, look at them Yo yos.

Anyway that track had Sting on singing I want my MTV to the tune of Don't Stand So Close to Me. He was another guy from the same area and was a teacher in a school.  His net worth I just looked up is apparently $ 300 million.

Id be happy to be as poor as Mark :)

There's a bit of trivia I've never heard. And now that you mention it, I can hear it.

Sting got writing credits for it too. As if he doesnt have enough royalties :)

Yeah, well, I don't suppose that $300M just dropped out of the sky. Gotta have a few opportunistic bones in his body.

Indeed, talented and worked at it.

Just think he could have played it safe and been a headmaster by now :)

Hehe! Yeah. And while he'd end up a few bundles short of that $300M, school supervisors are paid pretty handsomely here in the states. Be into 6 figures, anyway. Have to do a terrible job, though. It's how you get raises. The worse the kids do, the more money they throw at the schools.
